I was reading this great article and the writer feels that there are seven phrases or words that Parents must speak to their children to help them be who God wants them to be. They are:
- I believe in you
- You can count on me
- I treasure you
- I'm sorry, please forgive me
- Because
- No
- I love you
Sometimes when you are a parent you get caught up in what needs to get done rather than taking the time to focus on one of your greatest responsibilities and mission in life, which is raising your children the way God wants you to. Time goes so fast and your children will be grow before you blink twice. Make sure your children know you and you know them and that they hear those 7 little phrases listed above.
